Twigg is a research tool. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service and save your history. Last updated June 2026.
What we store
- Your email (and an optional username) when you create an account — to sign you in and save your searches.
- Your search history — the tickers you analysed, so you can re-open them.
- A one-way hash of your IP for anonymous visitors — only to count the single free search before sign-in. We do not store raw IP addresses.
- Cached analysis results (public company data) — shared across users so we don't re-run the same query.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't track you across other websites.
- Any LLM API key you paste (BYOK) is sent only to the backend for that request and never stored.
Retention
Cached analyses are purged on a schedule set by the operator (default 90 days). You can delete your account at any time, which removes your history.
Your rights
You can request access to, or deletion of, your data by emailing sanctumenginity@gmail.com. This aligns with India's DPDP Act and the GDPR.
